  1. Post at least once a day! If you are really dedicated and wanting to grow your account, I really recommend posting at least once a day! When I first started, I would post around 5 times a day lol

  2. Interact with other accounts around your size! Make friends with other people who may have the same following as you! Y’all can support each other!

  3. Have a nice account! Make sure that your account is cute and organized! Have a nice pfp, banner, and boards!!

  4. Trust the process! It takes time to grow on Pinterest, but it can be done! In September of 2022 I had 20 followers and now in February I have 850!! Trust the process.

The case of the schoolwork overwhelm

The Girly GirlBlog does not own this photo

Sometimes, school can feel overwhelming and like you're drowning in schoolwork. If this is you, you're in the right place because your bestie Belle is on the case. When it comes to schoolwork, I have pretty much been there done that in terms of organization systems. I, however, have only found a few of them to work for me, and they might work for you.

The first system I have in place is a method I found on YouTube. It's a method where you set aside a set time to do things that take a set amount of time, like reading 4 chapters, taking notes and things like that, and doing them in that time. With tasks that can be done in random bursts like writing an essay that isn't due for a month, you just do that when you can. This, however, will only work if you have a pretty free schedule where you can easily add in time to study or do tasks. If you don’t have a free schedule, this next one is for you.

This next method is what is in calling the rushed yet planned out method. This one is good for if you have a short amount of time for something or have a full schedule. To start, of this method, you need to make a list of everything you need to do to get to the finished product. Like if you have an essay to do, you would usually start by researching, taking notes, planning, then writing, then submitting it. You then plan out how long you think it will take to do each but keep in mind our brains as humans are only good at fully focusing for 45 mins so plan for 5-minute breaks every 45 minutes. Then you put the tasks in order and spend time doing them. I usually like to leave about 2 days - 1 weeks’ worth of evenings depending on the project at hand. This method is really good for people who like to cram things in the night before because it can help lay things out.

The last and final method I have found to work for me is what I like to call the time taker method. This can work for when you have a long time to submit something. It's very similar to the last one except more structured and you take as much time as you can on each smaller task inside of a big task. You then edit and refine as best you can submit it.

Now that you know about the systems I use, I wanted to share some important tips and tricks I have learned a long way.

1. Save your documents and copy everything you write onto another document. I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally deleted my work.

2. Book mark any pages in any book you use for research. Copying others' work without permission is actually a crime, so keeping note of the book and page you use is key. 3. Have a document just for the links you use. It helps a lot when writing a bibliography/reference page.

4. Don't share your work with anyone until you are done and have submitted it. This helps keep others accountable for copying your work if it ever happens. Last but not least….

5. ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT! School is a place for you to learn, not sit there lost. If you need help, ask any adult, teacher, or friend. They are there to help and support you.

How to achieve the Y2K Aesthetic

The Y2K aesthetic has been on trend for a few years now and shows no signs of slowing down. It blends nostalgia for the early 2000s with updated fashion elements for a look that is both fashionable and timeless. Here’s how to achieve the perfect Y2K aesthetic.

Clothing

The Y2K aesthetic has its roots in 2000s fashion, so it’s no surprise that clothing is an important part of the look. To achieve the Y2K aesthetic, look for items that evoke a retro feeling such as low-rise jeans, crop tops, and babydoll dresses. Accessorize your outfit with chunky jewelry, statement sunglasses, and lots of layering.

Hair

Hair is an important part of any look, and the Y2K aesthetic is no different. Try a flipped bob or long layered hair, both of which were popular in the early 2000s. You can also pull off a sleek ponytail and add a headband for a retro touch.

Makeup

The Y2K aesthetic is all about having fun and experimenting with makeup. Think glossy lips, colorful eye shadow, and lots of sparkles. Be sure to use brown or black eyeliner to give your look a more dramatic feel.

No look is complete without the right finishing touches and the Y2K aesthetic is no exception. Add chunky platform shoes or combat boots for a truly retro feel. If you’re feeling daring, try a scrunchie in your hair or a velvet choker around your neck. Finally, accessorize with a mini backpack or a crossbody bag to complete the look.

If you're feeling daring, add a scrunchie to your hair or a velvet choker around your neck. Don’t forget to accessorize with a mini backpack or a crossbody bag. With the right combination of items, you’ll be able to achieve your perfect Y2K aesthetic.

Set Goals

Making a plan and setting goals is a great first step to staying motivated. Writing them down and creating a timeline can help to measure your progress and success, allowing you to track the progress you've made and the goals you've achieved. Even if your goals are small, it's important to set something you can strive for.

Find Support

It can be incredibly helpful to have a support system when you're feeling unmotivated. Whether it's family, friends, colleagues or even a mentor, having someone to talk to and encourage you can make a world of difference. They can provide advice, support and help you to stay focused on your goals.

Take Breaks

Sometimes it can be necessary to take some time off from work and other commitments. Taking a break every once in a while gives you the mental space to relax and reenergize, so that you can come back feeling motivated and ready to take action. Even a few minutes of mindfulness or a few hours of relaxing can help to reset your motivation levels and give you a fresh start.

Reward Yourself

Rewarding yourself for meeting goals is a great way to stay motivated. Even something small like a treat or gift can make a big difference. Celebrate and recognize the progress you've made and don't be afraid to reward yourself for the hard work you've put in.

The next step is to take action and make a plan of action. Breaking up your goal into smaller and achievable steps can make it seem much less daunting and more achievable. Taking small steps every day can make a huge difference in your motivation levels and help you to stay on track.

Make it a Habit

Motivation is a habit, so it takes some effort and dedication to keep it up. Commit to your plan, track your progress and celebrate small wins. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. With some practice, perseverance and determination, you'll be sure to achieve success.

We all experience our fair share of motivation lows, but there are plenty of methods you can use to stay motivated and make sure you're always on your A-game! By setting goals, finding support, taking the occasional break and rewarding yourself, you'll be able to stay motivated and on top of your game. So, make a plan of action, take some time for yourself and get started!
