We all have days when we don't feel our best; it's natural to have moments of low confidence and self-esteem. But there are ways to help you to feel more content with yourself and your body. To help you on your journey to better self-love, here are some tips for feeling good in your own skin:

  1. Spend time with people who make you feel good about yourself. Surround yourself with supportive friends and family who will lift you up, rather than tear you down. Having the right kind of people around you can make a huge difference in your confidence and self-image. Building a good, solid and supportive environment can really help to surround yourself with people who uplift you.

  2. Celebrate your successes. No matter how big or small, every accomplishment should be recognized and celebrated. Take the time to appreciate your achievements and bask in them, as this will help to boost your confidence and strengthen your self-esteem. Have a party with your friends for getting a B on your math test! Celebrate your wins and reflect on your weaknesses.

  3. Take care of yourself. Make sure you are engaging in self-care activities that make you feel good. Exercise, get enough sleep, eat healthy, and do activities that bring you joy. Taking care of yourself is the first step to feeling good about yourself. Try to do at least one thing every single day for yourself! Whether that be taking a bath or doing your skincare routine!

  4. Focus on your strengths. Don't be too hard on yourself and don't compare yourself to others. Whenever you get the urge to say, “I wonder what she would think of me for this” stop and wait. Instead think, what do I think about this. How do I feel about this. Focus on the things you do well and find ways to use your strengths to your advantage. By emphasizing the things, you do well, you can start to build a positive self-image.

  5. Invest in yourself. Spend time and money on things that make you feel good about yourself. Whether it's a new outfit, a massage, or a fun activity, it's worth investing in yourself. Taking the time to spoil yourself with something special can be a great way to boost confidence and self-love.

Take the time to recognize your accomplishments, surround yourself with positive people, and invest in yourself.
